About this dojo

We help children and adults build self-confidence, self-belief, discipline, and resilience through traditional Kyokushin karate training. Our dojo provides a supportive and respectful environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and achieve goals they may never have thought possible.

Through a combination of fitness, practical self-defence, martial arts techniques, kata, and sparring, students learn the value of hard work, perseverance, and respect for themselves and others. Whether someone is looking to improve their fitness, gain confidence, learn self-defence, compete, or simply be part of a positive community, we help each student grow at their own pace and become the best version of themselves both inside and outside the dojo.

At Kenworthy Kyokushin Dojo, we believe martial arts is about more than kicking and punching. It is about developing character, building lifelong friendships, and giving people the confidence and self-belief to face challenges in all areas of life.
