Bringing your dojo to MOKNZ

If you run a Kyokushin dojo and you're considering a change of affiliation, this page is written for you rather than for prospective students.

We know what's involved. A move affects your grade, your students' grades, your syllabus and your income, and it usually can't be discussed openly until it's decided.

You keep your fee structure

Your dojo sets its own fees. MOKNZ does not set them and does not take a percentage.

You keep your dojo name, your premises, your training nights and your students.

Your students keep their grades

Students transferring with their dojo generally retain their current kyu grade. We are not going to put your brown belts back into white.

The syllabus

The syllabus is broadly common across Kyokushin. Kata, kihon and the grading structure will be familiar, and the differences are matters of detail rather than substance.

What you get

Starting a conversation

Tell us your name, your grade, your town, roughly how many students you have, and your current affiliation. Say how best to reach you.
