Good training does not need to be complicated, and it does not need to be crowded. We keep things welcoming and personal, so that every student is noticed, corrected kindly and encouraged to keep going. Newcomers settle in quickly because the dojo is the sort of place where people look out for one another.
Kyokushin karate covers a lot of ground: fitness, technique, kata, sparring and the etiquette that holds it all together. Students learn that respect is not just a formality. It is how you treat your instructors, your partners and yourself, and it makes the training better for everyone.
There is no need to be an athlete to begin. Come with a willingness to try, and the rest will follow. Over time you will find yourself stronger, steadier and more confident than when you started.
